Eyelids
“Because of his lack of eyelids, he can re-live his memories!”
Even though it’s short, this film sure made my mind wander. Also, to me, the cinematography the moment the dude gets on his bike really makes this video something special.
At first I wasn’t sure I was going to like this short. The premise, I thought, seemed too absurd. But the animation kept me interested enough to suspend disbelief and appreciate the short for it’s aesthetic quality and mood. Would this make a strong feature length film? I don’t know, but I think in the right hands, it can make most people get over their incredulity for long enough to give it a chance.
